This week, SuperNet is back to bring you up to speed on the latest developments of both the SuperNet technologies and the Komodo platform. We will talk about the Blockshow 2017, Komodo’s progress in various areas and the latest Agama releases.
The Blockshow 2017 was a success! It was a great networking conference for both the Komodo cryptocurrency and SuperNET. CoinTelegraph did a great job organizing this amazing conference. In fact, the event was such a positive experience that we are now actively looking to take part in more conferences! If you have any suggestions or invitations, feel free to contact us.
During the conference we had the opportunity to inform many people regarding Komodo, and its innovations: assetchains, delayed Proof of Work and the stable Komodo Currencies.
There are two angles from which we could pitch Komodo: the money angle and the platform angle. We could say that the platform came first, and on top of that we built the Komodo currencies. Furthermore, any other blockchain project could similarly get a head-start with the same set of technologies and secure their blockchain with Komodo.
Of course, talking about the Komodo Platform without mentioning the wider SuperNet ecosystem is almost impossible, as they fuel and depend on each other. We are currently forming an action plan to bring the overall platform under the eyes of the developers, and this conference was an excellent start!
And as a bonus, we got to meet many cool people like Christopher Hering from BlockPay, Roland H. and Leon Fu from cryptocurrency.market, Alexandra Fetisov from DAO.Casino and more! – Read more and check the pictures here!
These are hectic times in the cryptocurrency sphere when coins are rallying just as easily as they are crashing. However, since the last update in which we talked about KMD’s impressive rally, Komodo has held up its price with very little volatility.
KMD is currently sitting at 0.0001347 with 37.61K BTC worth of KMD exchanged in the last 24h. Although this price represents a 17% loss in the BTC market when compared to our last update two weeks ago, one must note that Bitcoin has increased in value 15.57% since then. As so, KMD has held its USD value (roughly $0.16). See live charts here.
Mining Komodo is becoming more and more popular! You can get an idea of how profitable Komodo mining is through the Whattomine.com website. We have also realized that Suprnova.cc no longer offers Komodo mining. However, a new pool has started providing KMD mining, Luckpool. Luckpool runs on a PPNLS payment system and charges a 1% fee. You can check out the pool here.
