The Tennessee Project Raises 10 Million NXT

October will be marked as a turning point for NXT as finally we will see an extensive PR campaign promoting the NXT platform. Those who have used NXT will know that NXT is a top tier cryptocurrency technology wise. However, even the best of technologies need professional PR and that is exactly what the Tennessee Project is.

On the 26th of September, a total of 10 million NXT was raised for the project. The NXT community once again showed it’s unrelenting support for the platform. This achievement will allow Bas Wisselink (Damelon) and Dave Pearce (EvilDave), two well respected members within the NXT community, to market, promote and develop NXT for 12 months on a part-time salary, self-employed basis.

The project has three overall goals:

– A major increase in and professionalisation of Nxt marketing
– To improve the Nxt user experience, in terms of ease of use, support and documentation
– The acquisition of leads to both incorporate Nxt into real world applications/businesses and to attract investors to the platform

Evildave expressed his gratitude over the NXT forum:

“We’d like to say ‘thank you very, very much’ to everyone who has contributed to the success of the Tennessee fundraiser, and that means pretty much all of the Nxt community. Thanks, guys and girls, we’re seriously, really impressed by this vote of confidence.”
