WAVES Weekly No. 13

Development Update

Full nodes testing continues, in tandem with asset testing. Partial support for assets has been added to the testnet explorer, and we have been fixing database issues. As we’ve previously made clear, these two elements are being developed in parallel and can be released separately or together, depending on when they are ready.

A new testnet release will be available in the coming days, addressing all known bugs to date. We have also added order matching and some checkpointing, which will help to secure mainnet when it’s up and running.

The test ICO run by a few members of the community has finished, with assets distributed to the participants. Thanks to the lessons learned over the past week we’re fixing storage issues, improving nodes and assets and optimizing the network. If you’d like to join in and earn some bounties, please join #testnet-maintainers on our Slack.

WWCR Episode 4

There is a new episode Waves Weekly Crypto Round-up out now. This will be Lola’s last one as presenter, since she has to return to London. Next week we will continue with a different presenter.

We’ve also updated the format to include more sections and material. We hope to introduce a new face to give a TA section on the bitcoin markets – Kir Kelevra, CEO of bitup.io. Kir should be joining us on WWCR soon.
